R2 CERTIFICATION

Our down stream vendors are R2 certified. R2 stands for responsible Recycling. R2 is a standard set by the local and federal government. Every electronic recycler that becomes R2 certified goes through phases of audits. R2 has set processes, safety measures and documentation process that R2 certified companies have to abide by. This practice also permits us to do the following: dismantling segregating components that are destruction of electronic equipment.

R2 also ensures Sustainable Recycling, and it provides clear standards for recyclers to use when they recycle electronics from companies like yours. R2-certified vendors are trained to ensure that end-of-life electronics and their components are handled safely.

High Tide Commodities is also a member of ISRI. ISRI is the voice of the recycling industry. It’s dedicated to safety , market research and promoting cleaner facilities. We encourage our down stream vendors to set a high bar for better, safer, cleaner operations. ISRI also provides legal and regulatory information on matters pertaining to the scrap industry
